Godfather Garage started in a mom's garage with a kid who could not stay out of it. Founder David DeSisto has been working on cars since he was thirteen, building motors and getting his first taste of real American muscle behind the wheel of a '55 Chevy Business Coupe, a car he got running with his own hands at thirteen. His early days were spent around street racing culture and running with The LP Crew, long before any of it became a business.

What started as a one-car passion project has grown into a full-service restoration shop rooted in that same hands-on mentality. Today Godfather Garage specializes in vintage American cars from the 1960s and 70s, with great pricing and no quality sacrifices because not everyone has a hundred grand to spend on their dream car. Every build is stripped to the frame, rebuilt with quality parts, and finished to a standard that reflects decades of experience. When a car leaves our shop it goes directly to enthusiasts. No middlemen, no inflated auction house fees. Just honest builds, done right, and sold nationwide. Because this is not just restoration. It is a lifetime in the making.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Every build listed is either available now or will be completed soon. If you see a car you want, contact us with the build number and we will confirm availability, timeline, and pricing. Most builds sell before they are fully finished, so if you are serious, reach out early.

We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, PayPal, and most digital wallets through the site. For vehicle deposits or full purchases, wire transfer and cash in person are also available.

Every order runs through an encrypted connection. Your payment details are processed securely by our payment provider and are never stored on our servers.

A receipt is emailed to you automatically after checkout. If you need an invoice or a printed copy for a build or deposit, just ask and we will send one over.

Apparel and small items ship worldwide. Vehicle shipping is arranged on a case-by-case basis depending on destination and build. Contact us before ordering if you are outside the U.S.

Free U.S. shipping applies to orders over $75. Everything else ships at a flat rate based on weight and destination.

Unworn apparel can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange. Vehicle sales are final once the deposit clears and the build begins. Custom or made-to-order items are not eligible for returns.

Apparel ships in 3 to 5 business days after production. Vehicle builds vary by scope and are quoted individually before any deposit is taken.

Machine wash cold with similar colors. Tumble dry low. Do not bleach. Do not iron the print directly. The heavyweight cotton will soften with each wash without losing shape.

Yes. Unworn shirts can be exchanged or returned within 30 days. Print defects are replaced at no charge.

All restoration work happens at the shop in California. Vehicles are available for viewing by appointment only.
